Commission is coming to Dubbo and the Orana region of NSW

The independent police watchdog, the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission, is hosting a community event to promote law enforcement integrity in Dubbo on Thursday 13 February 2025.

The Commission will provide an opportunity for community members to hear about its work and how it strives to improve public trust in law enforcement.

The event will be hosted by senior Commission staff:

  • Gary Kirkpatrick, Executive Director Operations
  • Susan Raice, Director Prevention, Legal and Engagement
  • Aaron Bantoft, Director Investigations Oversight Division

The Commission encourages everyone to come along, share their experiences of policing in the local community and to ask questions about the Commission’s work.

Members of the public wishing to attending the Commission’s free lunchtime community info session on Thursday 13 February 2025, 12:30pm at Western Plains Cultural Centre are requested to register via the link here.

The Commission has joined with the Independent Commission Against Corruption’s rural and regional outreach program which has proved highly successful since its inception in 2001. Previous visits have included the Riverina, Hunter and Central Coast, Western Sydney and the New England regions of NSW. The Commission will continue the Western region outreach visit when it heads to Broken Hill from 19 February.
