The LECC Act places primary responsibility for the investigation of misconduct involving the NSWPF and NSWCC upon those agencies. The LECC independently ensures misconduct matters are dealt with appropriately by the NSWPF and NSWCC.

Presentation of LECC Report Operation Kurumba

A Law Enforcement Conduct Commission (LECC) investigation has found that former NSW Police Force Commissioner, Mr Michael Fuller, did not engage in any misconduct.

The LECC carried out an investigation, Operation Kurumba, following questions raised in the media in February 2022 concerning the former Police Commissioner’s interest in horse racing and involvement in a NSW Police Force catering contract.

In the Operation Kurumba report, furnished to Parliament today, the LECC investigation found nothing to suggest that the actions of former NSW Police Commissioner, Mr Michael Fuller, amounted to any misconduct at all.
