Operation Banff (December 2006)

An investigation into the events arising from a motor vehicle accident involving Mr Jeffrey Shaw QC on 13 October 2004, at Louisa Road Birchgrove. The preparation of this report was delayed as a result of proceedings commenced in the Supreme Court of NSW in December 2004. Those proceedings, brought on behalf of Mr Shaw, sought to limit the matters in respect of which the Commission could report to Parliament. The proceedings were resolved in the NSW Court of Appeal in July 2006.
