The Law Enforcement Conduct Commission has commenced Operation MAKALU, an investigation into the police operation at Sydney Town Hall and surrounds on the evening of Monday 9 February 2026, including incidents of alleged misconduct by members of the NSW Police Force against persons attending that location for a protest.
Members of the public are invited to upload any relevant evidence, such as video footage, photographs or other documentary evidence to assist the Commission’s investigation.
